Blackpool

Blackpool has everything .. from waterslides and white knuckle rides to casinos, theatres and
endless other forms of entertainment. The Pleasure Beach, The Sand Castle, Arcades, North,
South and Central Pier, the Grand Theatre, the Wintergardens, a variety of Casinos, Bars &
Clubs and much more as well as having a great surrounding nightlife. There is plenty to do
during the day for all of the family.

There is no doubt why Blackpool is one of the Uk's favourite destinations. With a fabulous
7 mile promenade to take a stroll, to the razzle and dazzle of the shows, to thrills and spills
on the Pleasure Beach, there is certainly something to suit everyone.

August 2010	Jimmy Carr - Rapier Wit Tour - 6th August Jane McDonald - August 17th
September 2010	Fireworks Championships first weekend of September Top firework companies from around the globe will be invited to stage firework displays on Central PromenadeCome and see this spectacle: afterwards we sit and reflect in the lounge, enjoying a hot Chocolate with.... to warm up and look forward to the next contestant! Beachvolleyball: We pride ourselves to be the host of one of the teams, very sportive people who will deserve your admiration for the high level of their sport! Blackpool Illuminations 4 September - 8 November 2009. Blackpool Illuminations are considered to be the greatest free light show on earth, which entertains millions of visitors between September and November time each year.
October 2010	Pier to Pier Race - mid-October, many local athletes take part in this well-supported race, which lasts approximately 15 km / 9 miles Junior Sequence Dance Festival - mid-October, held at the Winter Gardens Freestyle Dance Festival - mid-October, held at the Winter Gardens
November 2010	First weekend: end of the Illumminations, come and see the Fireworks that come with that! British National Dance Championships - mid-November, held at the Winter Gardens Cheerleading Championships - mid-November, held at the Winter Gardens
December 2010	Christmas Panto - December to January, popular seasonal pantomime featuring a number of celebrities, taking place at the Blackpool Tower New Year's Eve - December 31st, parties and celebrations held all over the city, including a major event at the Tower
